Justin Hornback is as a New York City based music director, conductor, pianist, arranger, and orchestrator. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Music with a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies.
Justin is currently working on the highly anticipated revival of HELLO, DOLLY! as Associate Conductor and will also play piano/celesta in the pit. He was last seen as the Associate Conductor/Keyboard 2 for Roundabout Theatre Company's production of HOLIDAY INN this fall. Previously on Broadway, he has worked as a substitute musician for the following: THE COLOR PURPLE, SCHOOL OF ROCK, HONEYMOON IN VEGAS, KINKY BOOTS, MATILDA, MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL, PIPPIN, BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, BRING IT ON, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, and BABY IT'S YOU. He also worked on the first American tour of WE WILL ROCK YOU.
NYMF credits include: STREET LIGHTS (Asst. to Composer/Copyist), THE 10TH FLOOR (Keyboard 2), FROG KISS (Associate Music Director), and CENTRAL AVENUE BREAKDOWN (Music Director/Orchestrations – 2011 NYMF Award for Excellence in Orchestration).
